Emilia Mitaritonna

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Emilia Mitaritonna of East Setauket, New York on March 19, 2024.  Born on June 12, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY Emilia was the daughter of the late Anthony and Regina Corbisiero and sister to the late Carmine Corbisiero.

Emilia was raised in Brooklyn where she met her husband and soulmate of 63 years, Benjamin Mitaritonna. They would start a family of their own in Brooklyn, before moving to Staten Island and later to East Setauket, NY.

Emilia was passionate about her work as a realtor for Coach Realtors of Smithtown, NY where she helped many families and couples find their perfect home.

Emilia loved her home and loved having her family nearby celebrating holidays and special occasions. She was a long-time member of the Stony Brook Yacht Club where she and her family shared many happy memories.

Emilia is survived by her husband Benjamin Mitaritonna and by her loving children, daughters Lori Colabufo and her husband Steven, Toni Conlon and her husband Michael, Wendy Zigon and her husband David, and son Benjamin and his wife Jennifer. She was cherished by her nine grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Emily, John, Owen, Benjamin, Avery, Alexa, and Justin, and her great granddaughter Emilia.
